Small-scale fisheries are vital to the nutrition and food security of coastal communities around the world. Very little data is collected on these fisheries, which means socio-economic contributions are often overlooked by policymakers. Why are these harvests hidden? What would it take to bring them to light? Join experts from the Nereus Program, Duke, World Fish and FAO for a talk and panel discussion followed by networking, drinks and light appetizers.

To watch on Facebook Live, go to the Nereus Program Facebook page at 12:00 PST on 5/31. Participate in the Q & A session by submitting your questions in the Facebook Live comments; they will be read aloud and answered by our expert panel.
